Crash Test Database Supplemental Information
Overview
The crash test databases provide public access to vehicle and motor vehicle equipment tests funded by NHTSA and performed by NHTSA and its contractors. The databases and associated signal analysis tools underwent major updates beginning in 2024 and a report is available for users wishing to learn more.

Test Reference Guides
To support standardized data entry, a set of test reference guides have been developed. The test reference guides provide detailed explanations of each field and offer advice to test laboratories on how to properly code data.
Test Lab Submission Portal
NHTSA test laboratory users can access the online test submission portal. Test submissions will be reviewed by NHTSA staff before being published.
